Eyes on the Prize!

I'm getting more and more anxious for the summer to arrive, and now that there's an end in sight at school I keep thinking about things that I want to do during my week off from school:

1. Check out Prince Caspian from the library. (I've been meaning to do this since February.)
2. Finish the Chronicles of Narnia series.
3. Finish the puzzle that is laying out on my living room floor. (Also been there, nearly untouched-except for when Justin worked on it-since February.)
4. Finish the three books I have been reading for the past several months, and read at least two other C.S. Lewis books.
5. Go for a long bike ride. (Several, actually.) St. Michael has some sweet wooded trails. I'm excited.
6. Get a tan. Or maybe at least a sunburn. They always seem to happen in the wrong order.
7. Do some calculus.
8. Reflect on the past year of my life. Journal a little maybe.
9. Write some long overdue letters--the first being to my Grandma.
10. Spend some good, quality time with Jesus.
11. Do some summer thrifting/shopping!

I know that I cannot do any of these things until June 3rd around 4pm. Until then, I have set a goal for myself to keep up from day to day with grading and planning and cleaning and staying organized with all of my school stuff. I've kind of slacked off the last two days. (I really shouldn't be writing this blog..) I really want to finish well. It's hard to listen to complaining every day from the kids and it's frustrating to watch them kind of give up. I will take a lesson from them and attempt to set an example. :) Maybe it'll catch on.

Maybe.

6 days!!
