10 Reasons Why Yesterday Was Pretty Great

1. It was Sunday!
2. They fed me a pancake breakfast at church. Awesome.
3. During said breakfast, I sat with a couple who told me about adopting their son from Korea just two months ago after waiting for two years. Crazy. Then, one of the pastors came over and introduced himself to me and we had a short but genuine conversation. He introduced me to another teacher from St. Michael Elementary. Then I went to pick up a little bag thing and was greeted by name by someone that I didn't know.
4. We sang 3 of my very favorite worship songs during church.
5. The sermon was about bearing fruit; some things I needed to hear.
6. I convinced three 4-year-old boys to share the "money" that was in their toy treasure chest. It lasted for at least one minute. Not bad.
7. I got to hang out with a good friend whom I have not seen for several months during the afternoon. I dominated at Set twice. It was fun. :)
8. Small group in the evening. More talk about bearing fruit and sharing prayer requests. We also laughed a lot. I love these people more all the time!
9. The pastor and his wife (who host my small group) are hosting two soccer coaches this week. From England. I got to sit and listen to two guys talk in English accents talk for like 2 hours. It rocked.
10. I went to bed refreshed and encouraged.
