Ohmygosh.
I can't believe that school (a.k.a. teacher workshop) is starting in 16 days!! Things are kind of beginning to be finalized and fall into place, and I'm getting really excited to jump into everything (I think!).
To add to my excitement, I walked into work today at Jitters and there were two beautiful math books sitting on the counter with my name on them. I was SO happy. (*dreamy sigh*) So! I will be teaching Algebra and Geometry this fall at St. Michael-Albertville High School to ninth and tenth graders (probably that age. i'm not entirely sure i guess..). I'm glad that I finally have copies of the books so that I can get a head start on planning and organizing some lessons and materials. (I've heard reports that planning an entire semester in 4 days is not the most pleasant experience (Warren MacLeod)..I believe it!)
So I'm pretty excited, as well as a little anxious and stressed, about what the coming school year will bring. I'm so thankful to have a full time teaching job. The Lord is so good to me! He takes care of me well. I really want to do a good job this year..which will involve learning a whole lot about what teaching really involves..but I know that I'm in Good Hands. :)
Yay! I'm so excited!

Oh boy! So excited for you, Kendra. Where will you be living? I'm excited that you'll at least be closer to Mpls than Moorhead!
